I'm also a fan of "second chances" ^_^ Makes characters much more interesting than the monolithic blocks that they would be otherwise. Okay, I'm going to try and be "hopeful" there ;-)

They are mostly the same people just with different circumstances. Mostly just to confirm what you're saying here.

We've seen from the Bad End that the forces pursuing Fin are "mortals", no eldritch being or cosmic force at play there at least. But a 1v10 is never a good position to be in ^^' Our downed Seraph is most likely Serane, a character we've only seen in Academy. She's a reckless truth seeker seeking glory in the darkest secret of the world(s), with a somewhat deficient survival instinct... Seeing her here is no surprise, and her falling to Malik's influence isn't either (unfortunately) since she fell very hard to the influence of Dark Fin back in the days. With that, it's quite hard to know what our choice will entail. Maybe helping her will bring her back in a better state of mind. Maybe helping her will invite betrayal down the line. Maybe being firmer with her will broke her beyond repair. Maybe being firmer will let her rebuild herself from this stronger base. Who knows ?
