Maybe there's a simpler way out? Some sort of loophole like how in some settings there's lots of little hidden gateways into the feywild.
Perhaps they simply slipped out, similar to the backrooms it would explain how Maggie got here.

That is quite a premise for the lore nerd that I am.
Consider my interest piqued ππ
Quite a few things to talk about.
Since this is Fin we're following, and most of his knowledge comes from his Father, we can deduct that this iteration is from a timeline where John didn't veer too much into the jerk side of the forceβ¦
Since Fin is looking for a way back into Turais, this would indicate that they aren't currently on it.
Most likely some sort of βin betweenβ space that links dimensions and worlds togetherβ¦
Eager to see what the rules of these spaces entails π
A pleasure to see Maggie again π
Her presence there doesn't raise much questions though.
Since the Earth Human Travelers are unwilling, collateral victims of the Angels fetching Earth wildlife to mold into Core Beasts, no wonder little effort is made on their part to ensure the stowaways arrive to the correct destination.
Another stone to add to their harrowing circumstances π₯
I am much more surprised that Fin and seemingly his dad were able to go beyond the edges of their own world.
Initiating such a voyage from Turais is no small undertaking.
I'd be poised to think that nothing short of an Angel or the Odyssey's power would be needed to open such a way. π€
Anyway, very good and promising series, I'll be waiting for the following eagerly π
