hello! patreon's been yelling at me to make some posts available to everyone for a couple of months now, sooo i figured that these "musing" posts would be a good start, since i already kinda make an effort to have them portend stuff about both sides of my content--captions and SISSEKAI!

so... captions. specifically, cuck captions! this month's patreon's pick votes are in, and it's a pretty big landslide for super girls! i'm actually a liiiittle bit surprised it was so popular... but happy, too! i've got some hot lil ideas i've been cooking up for this theme, so it should be good fun to put them to paper!

annnd speaking of putting stuff to paper... i forgot to mention it when i posted the latest chapter, but i've had sissekai on the backburner a lil bit for the last week or so... mostly because it's been my primary focus for a couple of months now, with all the plot stuff and lore stuff i've been trying to make sure i got right in the last few chapters. (in particular i wrote a tonnnnnnn of content for chapter 51 that didn't end up making it into the final draft.)

overall i am happy with where that stuff landed (and thank you so much to everyone who's been commenting and kudosing on it all, i super duper appreciate it), but all that time i spent agonizing over it and rewriting stuff did eat up most of my caption buffer, sooo yeah--it might be a while before the next full chapter! the patreon lore article/captions should still be fine, though.

and now, time for a meta-musing about these musings! i'm gonna tryyyyy and do these more regularly, especially now that i'm opening them to the public... it's recently occurred to me that even with my scatterbrain tendencies, i do actually have a fairly regular monday routine that i can pin doing these to... so hopefully you'll see more of me here, although not every one of these will be perhaps as substantive as today's! just the nature of weekly check-ins, i suppose!
