The deeper they delved into the ChesAn building the more the place seemed to warp from a bland corporate building with it's artificial lighting and sterile halls, to some far more arcane structure. “Obviously not. I don't know anything about this. They seem to be reasoning that it is both to my benefit for this to be happening, and for me to not be aware of it.” Janna argued defensively.

“You're figureheads. You're important, just not the one in charge.”

“So who is in charge?” Sebek questioned. The Fox pursed her lips. She then carefully responded.

Kai stepped back and shook her head. “What- What happened to you?”

“People change.” Steph insisted, crossing her arms.

“Leage.” Steph said. As the doors opened behind them the group moved forward into the center of the room. Behind them was a very toned, very tall blonde Fox with long blonde ears and a large, swaying blonde tail. She stood casually. The figure nodded and began to step forward in a calculated fashion. “Can you take her?” Sebek asked the group.

Kai gulped. “She's so Tekked out, but trying to crack her is like...” She cringed.

“I'll support. There is no way she can stand up against the two of us. This is a last resort for that woman, no doubt.”

Sebek nodded and glanced back at Steph. The woman did not seem worried at all. She was standing comfortably, waiting with her arms crossed over her chest.
