Hi. Still here. Some chewy news this month.

Familiar 4X TOY & Familiar schedule

Thumbnails are done, came in at 22 pages. Might be 23 depending on if I end up with time to add an additional sex page. It's spicy! I'll be working on finishing up those pages this month, as well as prepping the second half of 20 HOME and finalizing the script for 4X LINE (previously known as 4X SAFE). Look forward to those in the WIP roundup.

Hard Candy Press has canceled the Familiar print publication.

I received an email last month that, without any warning or further explanation, the people behind Hard Candy Press would not be able to continue with the company and that they were canceling the Familiar contract.

The email was very short and I don't have any other information, so please don't ask me for any. I'm really sorry to everyone who was excited to have the print version, and I'm disappointed.

To head off some of the questions: No, I don't currently have any intent to self-publish the comic in a physical copy; it's just outside my ability right now, logistically (especially with the heat on adult content right now). However, if anyone reading this is or has contact with anyone who is interested in picking up the contract, I am open to print if someone else is publishing. So if that's the case, you know where to find me.

...and introducing the (WIP) Soushiyo Workshop

I've been trying to get off the internet and stop looking at screens all the time for work, and have been putting more time into some hands-on crafts. But there's only so much I can make for myself and close friends, so I'm experimenting with adding a bespoke gear workshop to my store. I'll be listing pre-made items for sale, as well as taking custom orders.

The items listed under "readymade" will be for sale when the shop goes live; I'm listing everything as sold out right now because I'm not quite ready to start shipping stuff yet.

Also: as these items are handmade and I'm working with a distributor in the US, at launch, workshop items will only be available to folks in the US (though depending on shipping costs I may be able to extend this to the UK and non-GPSR-regulated overseas destinations eventually). I won't be able to ship these items overseas due to the GPSR restrictions. Sorry to my friends in the EU :(

well anyway, that's all from me for now. I do have a couple other irons in the fire and will update people as I have concrete and for-sure updates; until then, keep fighting the good fight and see you around.
