December '24 Newsletter (public)

Hello hello hello. News and updates ahoy.

(Calendar coming soon in a paid post, I need to dig out an old tablet and draw it because the AC adapter replacement for my Huion didn't get here in time)

First and most importantly: Familiar is officially on break. I'll include the schedule for the next couple months at the bottom of this post, but the most important thing is that through January I will be breaking from the actual Familiar comic to work on other projects (many which are Familiar related). Those projects are detailed below.

Projects this month:

Soiree @ Seeker Tier

I'm hoping to finish up the thumbnails and character designs for Soiree, and start working on the pages. Seeker tier will be getting the WIPs for this, so if you're interested in seeing some comic work that's not Familiar-related, check that tier out.

Unoriginal Characters @ Seeker Tier

I'm also going to be finishing up the character designs for the rest of the UNOC (my in-development longform comic) cast. I'll probably also talk a bit about some of the developmental changes that have been occurring with that project as we look into the next four years and what that's going to look like for adult content creators.

Familiar German translation + possible Brazilian Portuguese edition

My goal is to get through at least five chapters of the German translation in Dec/Jan. If you're a native German speaker and interested in helping with this process, we can always use additional sets of eyes to proofread the laid-out translations.

Additionally, we have a community member interested in leading a translation in Brazilian Portuguese. If you're a native speaker and interested in helping with this project, get in touch. The translation projects occur on the server, so come and join us!
