Yes Steve Model module is a 1.16.5 - 1.20 Minecraft Forge module that modifies the player model.
It uses GeckoLib as its core, using Minecraft Bedrock model and animation files. This allows players to customize their player models and animations as they wish.

Export the file corresponding to the new YSM version.

Check that your paths are correct. ysm models do not have compatibility issues between high and low versions.
