The 64-bit client patch is now complete and no longer requires command assistance or memory optimization (meaning most issues can be resolved by simply installing the patch). Detailed documentation about the patch's functionality is included in the compressed package.
This Darkest.exe Bug Fix Patch is made by "局外人". Based on Steam Darkest Dungeon | PC Platform (Windows OS) | Coming-in-Hot (Testing) Branch | Build 25688 | 64-bit main program.
This Darkest.exe Bug Fix Patch is made through reverse engineering, aimed at solving many old and critical crashes or bugs.
You may freely share and distribute this patch.
Installation Instructions:
Extract the _windows and _windowsnosteam folders directly into the DarkestDungeon directory. If prompted to overwrite 2 files, this confirms the correct path—proceed with overwriting.

Fixed a potential logic migration error. This may resolve rare reported issues where stun animation freezes caused combat rounds to stall.

The armor has always been packed in ZIP format within the folder. You can find it in the files. Since the armored version was not completed, I never specifically uploaded it.

2025-07-03 07:48:04 +0000 UTCIf you overwrite the file correctly, the window icon changes after the game starts, but it's not very noticeable. I think overwriting the file itself should be a simple and confirmable process though.
