This will probably be short, but here's your June newsletter.

Chapter 2X ELIXIR

I didn't finish the thumbnails for this chapter but I did pick a title (I was going back and forth between SALVE and POTION but I actually love ELIXIR the best). I'm about 2 pages off of finishing it so I am pretty sure I'll be able to wrap up the thumbnails this month, if not still manage to finish the chapter. Good news is I'm technically a month ahead on my "two chapters ahead" policy so that's good. I think it's going to be around 22 pages. I will still do the Influencer poll for it this month. 

Release schedule update

Despite everything going on I still can commit to the release schedule I mentioned I think in the beginning of May. Still plan to launch CENTER at the end of June which I'm actually really trying to get excited about. I have to wrap up some loose ends on it but it's ready to go aside from that... Yeah.

Life/world updates/time to get a little real

As you know if you follow me on Twitter or chat with me on Discord, I'm very invested in my community, which has been greatly affected by the protests. It's been a hard time, but I've also seen some really amazing things change because of it -- and although to many people it seems like the hard time just happened, I think it's extremely important that we acknowledge that this is just the surface of a "hard time" that has been happening to BIPOC and Black folk in particular for 400+ years. 

As an Asian American I find it my duty to stand up and speak out against the systemic racism and legalized police brutality against people of color and Black folk in particular. An Asian American officer stood by and did nothing while a white officer murdered a Black man in broad daylight. This couldn't have been more symbolic of our relationship with white supremacy. I refuse to be complicit.

Anyway I suppose it's important that those feelings are explicit here. I have been spending the past week running donation and supply runs, cleaning up after protests, calling my government officials, all while also trying to respect Covid19 protocol. I am now currently working on two fundraising campaigns, one of which I hope to co-launch on Twitter with a prominent GFD/femdom sex worker, so look for that. It just takes time to get that stuff together so we can do it right.

So, this is all to say: Black Lives Matter, and I am running behind because those issues must take a priority right now. I still think I can stay on schedule with Familiar, and hopefully with my regular Twitter posting schedule.

I don't think any of this will be a surprise to any of you who follow me on Twitter, since I try to be transparent about my position, but if it is and if you're unhappy about that, please feel free to leave your comments about it in your exit survey. I have appreciated your support.
