December newsletter
Added 2019-12-01 20:56:57 +0000 UTCDecember. We made it! Time for the monthly newsletter. This one'll be shorter than last month since less has changed. I think that's a good thing since it means what changed is working (I hope).
🔮 Chapter 07 "Gift" Update
I mentioned earlier that I finished the thumbnails for this one. Hooray! The chapter will be 25 or 26 pages long. I'm actually looking into combining a couple pages if I can, and then we'll be adding a final page based on the outcome of this month's Influencer poll. Look for that Dec 15. In the meantime I'll be working on those lines in the hopes of staying on schedule to have it done by the end of the year (oof).
🔮 Chapter 05 "Contract" Coming!
Yep, that's right, a new chapter is dropping end of the month, and it's one of my favorites. Influencers have already seen the thumbnails for it, and can probably guess why. It was also a nice break from drawing NYC cityscapes... from now on every chapter will take place in the woods in the dark (kidding).
Look for Chapter 05 Dec 24 for Advanced Access and Influencer tiers.
🔮 Patreon update
In November, 20 of you joined us. That's incredible. Some of you told me that you even joined Patreon just to support me here -- even more incredible. I'm taking it to well to heart.
When I launched this Patreon I just had one goal, which was to be able to work on Familiar essentially full time and try to get my release schedule down to closer to once a month. But now that things are warming up, I'd really like to find a way to say thanks for a more mid-tier goal.
So with that in mind, what kinds of things would you like to see? Products? Print stuff? Voice acting? Animations? What kinds of things do you love from other comics creators that I might be able to pull together for Familiar? Drop a comment here and let me know your suggestions and I'll see what's feasible.
In the meantime, I'll be over here drawing away to keep the chapters coming, and sharing the WIPs as they happen!
Yours,
Jude

Products would be lovely! Even if they were relatively small items, some merch or other products would be awesome to have.
