Why not combine the bard and the nest? The bard could have been cursed or otherwise turned into either a male or futa goblin, and they are "recruiting" a tribe to take out the shaman and take over the main tribe. Micah could either save the bard, the "recruits", or fail and end up joining them as a new recruit.
