Invite to Submit Questions for April AMA Stream

[Just accidentally posted this publicly then deleted it, oops. This is the real invite post.]

Dear 15+ Patrons,

I'll be doing my April AMA patron stream Thursday, May 2 (April 32) at 8pm ET. The stream will be archived here as always for those who miss it live.

Use the comments on this post to submit a question you want to ask me, and I'll answer it on the stream! Oh and please try to compress questions to *a couple lines of text* so I don't spend too much time reading out preambles on stream.

NOTE: I won't be answering any surgery questions. Feel free to ask how I'm doing/feeling but if you want to know anything more specific than that, save it for next month.

Looking forward to chatting!

Much <3

Natalie

Hi I summited my question and it might’ve been deleted anyway I hope to join The coast guard aux or National guard netheir will probably work out for me. How do I move on and how do I deal with my pop up military and my strong dislike for many of its missions and Ames

Hi Natalie! Love your channel! Thanks for sharing your transition through your very thought provoking videos - you've opened my mind to love trans folks. Also, thanks for introducing me to Anita S. Do you think her lash back was because of her go fund me success? It seems she didn't start getting so much hate until people started funding to hear her thoughts and men got jealous.

Okay so you're an ethics geek and a fashion geek: any thoughts on a video on ethics in fashion (e.g. labor practices) with an eye towards how to dress yourself while still supporting "basic human rights"? (Especially if I don't want to dress exclusively in dull canvass attire like Toms or whatever?)

What would it take to get you to be a speaker at a conference? What topic would you like to cover if you did?

Some ideas, like what being trans means or what being gay means, are super easy to explain to kids, who take these ideas at face value and don't have internalized worldviews and biases to get in the way. Taking a step back from specific truths about human nature, are there fundamental ideas about reality that you wish someone had instilled in you as a child that would have made your path easier, or given you a head start at seeing the world more clearly? In other words, if Christians can teach kids terrible ideas like Original Sin, what real and useful ideas about truth or humanity or relationships wold you want to teach kids before the cruft and rust of biases and cultural baggage close in, that might keep that cruft and rust to a minimum?

Yay Natalie =D &lt;3 congrats on 500k+ subscribers! I asked this question on the wrong thread :( Hopefully you answer this! Who is your favorite chapo?

Hope your flu is getting better! Have you ever seen the movie TerrorVision? I was getting Medusa vibes off the "horned biological woman" in the Gender Critical video.

Hi there! Relatively new fan from Haifa, seen all of your stuff to date. I’ve been trying to spread the word, and I’ve and translated a few of your vids to Hebrew (and fixed two of them; still pending your confirmation), partially because I volunteer at a youth centre and I want them to hear your vital messages (prompted by ‘Pick-Up Artist’ and an initiative for a discussion group for boys to discuss sexuality and relationship) (by the way: yum-yum then, yum-yum now). ‘Autogynephilia’ was also absolutely astounding—your courage is awe-striking and an inspiration. (Shame it was translated so horribly to Hebrew—it took me quite a while to fix it for my submission…) A few things I was wondering about: 1. How can you tell the difference between actual dysphoria per se and dysphoria as a manifestation of something else (e.g. depression and escapism), which can ultimately lead to detransitioning? 2. What prompted you to revisit old topics you’ve addressed in the past (e.g. ‘Gender Critical’ after ‘TERFs’, ‘America: Still Racist’ after the vid about Baltimore)? Are there any other topics you plan to revisit? 3. What do you think about critique against drag claiming it is a caricature of femininity? 4. What do you think about using ‘he, him, her, hers, herself’ as gender-neutral pronouns? (More on this here: <a href="https://svartikotturinn.tumblr.com/post/162589242698/gender-neutral-third-person-pronouns-titles" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://svartikotturinn.tumblr.com/post/162589242698/gender-neutral-third-person-pronouns-titles</a>) 5. As a former neuroscientist, can you comment on the neurological origin of dysphoria? Is there a reason it seems to correlate with autism? (Asking as a non-binary autistic person.) I’ve often wondered if it was possible to give people an fMRI scan or something to find out if someone is trans and might be happier transitioning. 6. Will you create vids about topics other than things related to trans issues in the near future? I’m a bit biased, but as a person currently residing in Israel, I wonder about your take on geopolitics in general. 7. I found this Reddit comment with links to articles explaining what ‘Post-Modern Neo-Marxist’ means; thoughts? (<a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/ContraPoints/comments/bhjuyv/a_response_to_no_postmodern_marxism_i_just_came" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.reddit.com/r/ContraPoints/comments/bhjuyv/a_response_to_no_postmodern_marxism_i_just_came</a>) 8. Speaking of which, do you follow your own channel’s Subreddit? 9. Could you elaborate on other mouthfeels? Like, masculine vagina, or cut/uncut feminine penis, formerly cut/uncut neovagina…? Thank you, and hope you’re doing well!

Hello! It seems to me that there is less of a backlash against newer social justice Youtube people like yourself and Olly and whatnot than there was a few years ago against Anita Sarkeesian, Steve Shives and Laci Green and whatnot (I remember these people being like the top Social Justice Warlords/lordesses at the time). Like... I don't see a lot of 50-part rambling rebuttals to Contrapoints videos floating around and getting popular in the same way. Is this assessment accurate? As always, thank you for your time! Your work continues to be excellent. Good luck with recovery!
