Hey Natalie. I've chosen a career path that requires a large amount of involvement with police agencies, and I find it likely that at some point I'll have the opportunity to work for them. I personally have a large amount of conflict with my views on what I think police should be in place for vs what they actually end up doing and representing. I also completely understand the struggles of minorities that have been systemically oppressed by the police (myself recently joining one minority group, recently hatched egg). tldr; How would you personally reconcile that kind of cognitive dissonance? Would you go with an avoidance - not accepting those kinds of opportunities should they arise, or go with subtle protest - take advantage of those opportunities but make some noise?

Whoops, sorry for accidentally sending a message. I'm new to this: Hey Natalie, I'm Tomat0, AKA Tomat0Talks. I've been working on video essays and analyses about various topics, both cultural and political, trying to take a different take on a lot of things. I do have a lot of doubts about my own quality of work, especially after working really hard and seeing radio silent reception. Would you mind sometime in the future giving me at least feedback on where I can improve. Also, if you're sick of Twitter but want to be able to communicate with your fans, try out Mastodon. It's an open source alternative with a LOT less toxic community but still allows you to post updates and stuff. Also a mini question, but what's your thoughts on Soren Kierkegaard?
