Recapping 2022 / Planning 2023
Added 2022-12-30 20:18:29 +0000 UTCBefore the year ends, I like to wrap up what I did this year and how well I did it and then plan for next year. In the 17 min video above I talk about stuff like my last Kickstarter and what's to come next. But if you don't want to watch it, here are the images below!
I put a questionable shrug on my Vore Day project because I did The Voremalump Kickstarter which failed to meet its goal. Alex In Wonderland and Kid Quicksand get a circle because I am still working on them. The Voremalump Halloween, Ryan's Funhouse Nightmare, and The Costume Shop Cake Wars all got wrapped up this year, and I'm happy to have finished multiple projects.
Next year I'm focusing my work onto four very specific things.
Funhouse Of Frights I'm doing the new story, Clown House, which will be very long. Vol 3 of Funhouse included stuff like David's Adventure, so Vol 4 will include everything since then. Eventually I'll package everything from 3 and 4 into a new book, and that will have a nice big Kickstarter, but I don't think that will be in 2023.
Alex In Wonderland I intend to continue working on, and making all the pages look fantastic with Rosangela's help as a Background Artist. I think it hasn't got a lot of eyes on it just yet, but could be a favorite once I start posting it regularly.
Kid Quicksand could probably fill a book at this point, but I want to do at least the main story line stuff where they go to the island before any of that happens. So again, no Kickstarter for Kid Quicksand this year.
The Costume Shop, I'm going to start in on the next major story, Spookynatural, but I'm going to finish writing it first. Going back to what people like most about the comic, and the horror aspect.
