A Very Important And Good News Update!
Added 2022-03-27 19:09:50 +0000 UTCTL;DR: I'm moving into doing this Patreon and my comics on a more full-time basis! That means more commission tiers will open up in April, and I will be working on catching up on commissions from this month as well as finishing The Costume Shop more immediately.
And now the more detailed explanation:
Hello all!
As you may know, I am a graphic designer for a major theme park news website. For the past three years, I have been doing graphics, logos, motion graphics, editing, YouTube thumbnails, and much more.
It was only a few months ago I brought up that I have not gotten a raise yet, and they gave me the one I asked for, which was nice. However, the number of hours I work has been 30 hrs a week, and I feel like that's draining my energy and motivation to do my comics work here.
I have had a bunch of people ask me for commissions or even higher-priced tiers, however, I have had to turn them away because I didn't have time. I feel like I cannot grow this if I'm spending so many hours doing the other graphics work. So I put the feeler out there about asking for fewer hours, with the intention of fully leaving if my Patreon pans out, so here was my plan which is already in motion:
In April I will open up a new highest point tier. This will be everything the NSFW tier gets, plus 6 commission credits a month. That's one comic page a month if you wanted it. I will also open up more slots for the mid-range tiers of 1 credit a month and 2 credits a month. I will stagger these so nobody is redeeming their credits all at the same time, which is what's currently happening and leading to months like March where I suddenly have 3 commissions to do at once.
I will also be moving into fully finishing The Costume Shop. It has 14 pages left, and when it's done, a Kickstarter is on the way for THE COSTUME SHOP COMPLETE EDITION, which is Chapters 1-5 plus every single bonus comic ever made about it. I think it's gonna be like 300-400 pages long.
I am also going to start putting Kid Quicksand up online publicly for everybody to see. I started working on that in 2018 or so, and now it's finally ready thanks to my amazing colorist Rosangela.
I am also going to start posting older Patreon exclusive comics. Comics I made more than 3 years ago. There are still plenty of exclusives here, and there will continue to be every month, but those older ones can enjoy some fresh eyes to bring people over for more new things!
I may also start streaming more once I devote more time to working, so people can pop in and see what I'm working on, or potentially get stream commissions if I have lots of free time between projects.
I may end the Ryan's Funhouse Nightmare, I got a bit ambitious at doing two pages a month at the moment, and I'm a little bit behind. I do think it's a fantastic idea to do a continuing story, and once I have more time to devote to doing comics, I might open it back up again, but at the moment I have four pages to catch up on.
I also plan on possibly using a new website/program called Commiss.io for keeping track of commissions, responding to them, and taking payment. It will help me collect commissions and keep track of them, letting you upload images and stuff. It's possible I may also have a friend build me a custom system for this instead.
So that's the current plan. Obviously plans change, but if people jump into commission tiers fairly quickly, or fill up a commission queue, I'll know I have the ability to leave work sooner and devote more time quicker!
That's all for now. I appreciate it if you read the whole thing, and I am really happy to see so many people coming and supporting me over the past year where things have grown so much! I will not let you down if this pans out the way I hope! You'll see so much gay vore stuff you'll wish you were in a mouth! Dunno where I'm going with this. Love you all, thank you so much, excited to announce this all in April!
