CONCEPT ART Dixon Beach
Added 2022-01-15 03:44:12 +0000 UTCFor some upcoming pages of Kid Quicksand, I needed to rough out what the city looks like. The name of the city has changed a few times, but I think I have finally landed on Dixon Beach, named after the mayor, Mayor Manny Dixon-Hulls. (Get it? Dicks on beach? Many dicks in holes?) I think I might even make El Toro Grueso the Mayor in his OWN hero disguise. That might be fun.
But yeah, the Team Quicksand penthouse is the tall pink building. The main street area in the middle is where you'll find The Costume Shop, and the colorful tent is the Funhouse Of Frights. That's right, this location is canon to every other comic of mine!
I'm sure I might pass this off to Rosa my BG artist and colorist and she'll make it look PHENOMENAL. So yeah, just some rough concept art!
