๐๐๐ All the best wishes! ๐ We tend to make fun of birthdays, but actually... they are important! It's a day to say "I'm still here, I fought my fears!" A day for our loved ones to say "You made it. Another year, ty for not giving up. Ty for being here, for all the joy and laughter as well as for serious talks and crying together" We all know how much it hurts to lose someone (life is short, but some lives are even shorter). It's another trip around the sun, for sure. But it's also good memories and new skills. New people, more confidence in ourselves. Learning a new language, seeing a foreign country or exploring the country we were born in. Staying side by side with people who need us and finally tasting the food from the food truck we never tried. It's what we make of it. It's not about the cake and at the same time - it is.
