Oni Encounter: The Path Less Traveled By

A special enchantment allows these Oni to be perceived as human so long as their horns remain hidden. Any individual who lays eyes upon the Oni's horns will have the façade permanently shattered for them. It is no easy feat to undergo this enchantment and adapt to human life, but for some Oni, it's a worthwhile struggle.
