Greetings Plunderers, Naturalists and Loreseekers!
In honor of the last week of Swordtember, we're opening up temporary channels in the Discord where you can suggest your own idea for a homebrew sword to be illustrated by us. We'll be illustrating 1 community-suggested sword & 1 Patron-suggested sword!
If you'd like to participate in this impromptu homebrew quest, hop into the Discord, and under the Plunderer's Camp category there are new swordtember special & sword workshop discussion channels waiting for you. Alternatively, you may comment ideas on this Patreon post. We'll be sure to keep track of the ideas that stand out, no matter where you post them.
When posting ideas, describe the way the sword might function mechanically (the closer to our typical item copy, the better!), provide a brief visual description and there's a chance it will end up in our rotation of items!
We'll keep an eye on this post and the Swordtember Discord channels for ideas that we like, and by the end of September we'll select 5 ideas - each from a different Patron - to be put into a Plunderer+ exclusive poll. The winner of the poll will be illustrated by the Dungeon Strugglers. Competition may be stiff, so make sure to put your best ideas forward written as clearly as possible!
