State of the Struggle!

Ahoy there Strugglerinos,

Happy December, and to those who celebrate, Happy Holidays! We hope you’re having a wonderful month thus far! Here in the northern reaches of the US we’re hunkering down to enjoy the comfort of the great indoors, and vowing to never be cold again

It’s been a crazy year and we’re so thankful to have you alongside us! The community we’ve grown together is truly special. We could not do any of this work without you, and for that you have our deepest gratitude. You all continue to impress us with your friendliness, creativity, and undying love for only the dankest nerdy content. Here are some updates for how we’ll finish out the year and forge ahead into 2022:

Both of us - August & Tom - intend to take some time off from writing and illustrating for the last week of December, and the first week of January. This being the case, we won’t be hosting an Explorer’s Summit Poll for January. Instead we’ll be continuing in the mountains theme from December’s Explorer’s Summit. We’re super excited to ascend above the cloudline to rocky, snow-blown peaks and alpine ranges with you all! For the rest of December we’ll be cranking out the items we have in store for the Carnivorous Forest theme and dropping the setting, “Grasping Wilds,” later this week. We’re really proud of what we’ve put into this setting and we can’t wait to share it with you!

We’ve decided to pause billing for existing Patrons for the month of January. This means existing Patrons won’t be charged on January 1st 2022, but will still have access to all their benefits. Billing will recommence on February 1st 2022 for existing Patrons. We’re doing this so that we can take some time off, and to thank you all for a truly incredible year! Cheers for all of the amazing homebrew we’ve envisioned together! Here’s to another glorious year of D&D!
