State of the Struggle!

We have a State of the Struggle update!
Starting in July there will be a few changes to our approach to making 5e homebrew content. Our goal is to continue to build a uniquely flavorful, rich and *fully illustrated* world for you, our lovely community. Eventually, we also plan to launch a print compendium that compiles everything we’ve made to date into a big sexy tome. To achieve this goal, we’ll be diversifying the type of content we make. There’s so much more than just items that we’ve been eager to explore: monsters, lore, factions, adventures, settings, and more general worldbuilding, to name a few examples.
While this is a project that expresses our own creative goals, we need to know more about what you want to see in D&D! We plan to work more closely with you in the future to help guide us down new paths in our exploration. This will entail more polling for ideas, Discord chats, and surveys to see what unique storytelling opportunities lie ahead.
We’ll be changing our posting schedule to accommodate the new work we’ll be creating. Items, while still time consuming, are more bite-sized than some of the things we plan to tackle moving forward. There may be more irregularity in our releases as we enter into uncharted lands. We’ll be keeping contact with you all to make sure you’re informed along the way. We expect that once we’ve tried out some new things, it will get easier to estimate timeframes and the posting schedule will be more regular again.
We can’t tell you how amazing it has been to meet each of you, and see our community grow. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for the love and support you’ve shared! You are the core of what makes this project a reality, and you inspire us to keep creating every day. As we evolve and scout our way forward, we will always have you on our mind.
We’re excited to see where this leg of the adventure takes us, and we’re so grateful we get to do it with you!
