Which Commissioner item concept should we make?
Added 2021-05-07 21:01:00 +0000 UTCSince we launched the latest tier, our Commissioner tier patrons have been busily writing up and workshopping their own unique magic item concepts together on Discord.
Every week Commissioners nominate their favorite item concepts to be voted on by Comrades and Commissioners. Now we need your help to determine which concept will make it into our lineup as an official Dungeon Strugglers item.
Which of these item concepts should make the cut?
Wings of the Raven - A sentient black cloak made of raven's feathers. This artifact allows the user to polymorph into a Raven at will, and gives them an acute awareness of life and death in their immediate area. The cloak levels up and increases in power with the wearer.
Whetstone - This common item magically sharpens your slashing or piercing weapon, granting it a bonus to damage that wears off over time.
Demon's Fang Dagger - A cursed dagger made from the fang of a demon. As the wielder deals additional necrotic damage, eventually a demon is unleashed that attempts to control the wielder.
Regalia of the Rhinoceros - This cursed half plate Barbarian armor allows the wearer to designate an area on the battlefield as their territory while raging. The wearer's walking speed is increased and they deal extra piercing damage on attacks while within their territory. The wearer's skin becomes gray unless bathed in mud daily.
Ring of the Pedant - This ring grants the wearer proficiency in Intelligence-based skills. When making an Intelligence skill check, the wearer must always make up an answer as if they had succeeded, even if it leads their companions into harm's way.
The winning concept will be refined, illustrated and released by us in the upcoming week! The next cycle of Commissioner nominations ends at 10am PST on Friday 5/14.
