Well If you think it as a latin name it makes sense. Lupus can be translated into a wolf (Canis Lupus is the full latin name for wolf), regina in latin means Queen. So Lupusregina could be translated into Wolf Queen. Also if you count greek alphabets you might find familiar names like Alpha, Beta, Gamma and so on.
