TFND-Ep.3 (Dev Update)
Added 2024-10-10 02:29:36 +0000 UTCHello again everyone. I hope you enjoyed Ep.2. I didn't get any complaints on it which surprised me actually but I suppose that's good.
Not to sh*t talk my own game but I felt Ep.2 was a bit dry. I didn't have much interesting things to go on at this point in the story but without an extra week of our characters bonding the rest of the story would have felt too quick I tried to supplement it with added features of music and the belly rub feature but still I just wasn't really excited about it. So, sorry if you also felt this episode was a bit of a repeat of Ep.1. The same could not be said for this next episode.
This is the first episode I'm really excited to make because we start to get a little conflict and some gaps in the day get filled in. So, here's what I'll reveal to you so far.
New Feeding Type / Outfit For Mary
If you played Ep.2 to the end you'll know Adam asks Mary on a date-not-a-date feeding session. This will be part of the first day in Ep.3 and be a new feeding type. On non-scripted days when you enter Mary's apartment at night you'll be able to choose whether you'd like to do a "Couch Feeding" which is what you have now or a "Restaurant Feeding". This is a new feeding type where instead of feeding Mary snacks in her living room you'll order her plate after plate until she gets too full to carry on (and hopefully doesn't embarrass herself in the process) This will also include a new look for Mary as she decides to dress up for their date-not-a-date.
New Location / New Character
Another new feature is the new "Work" location. Some people have commented on the odd inclusion of the apartments at night and day that you have to go through and how they're unnecessary. This is because those were place holders for when I actually had things to go there. In Ep.3 you actually will go to work and come to meet a new female character with an unusual interest in Adam's new mystery woman and an increasing frustration when he won't make it clear what she is to him. Don't worry you won't actually have to do any work while you're there.
Better Writing
Like I said, I didn't like Ep.2 because it didn't have much to tell. This episode, though we will see our characters becoming closer and sharing more moments together. And a new character to come in to stir up drama. The seeds of conflict are planted in this episode and by the end of it... heartbreak. A stonewall to be climbed. I'm being intentionally vague because I don't want to spoil anything but I'm just trying to say that I think you'll find Ep.3 much more of an engaging story that sets up the conflict for the next few episodes.
That's about all I want to share. I'm excited to get this one out because I knew since I started writing this story that this would be where it got good. I don't want to give you a release date this time. Obviously that didn't go well last time and this one requires more art (and money sigh) and time in my chair so I don't want to lock something in that's a lie. Thank you for your patience, thank you for your support and I'll be back with another update (and a sneak peak at the art) next time.
