This ep is the one where goku and vegeta really start digging into the zenkai boost hack( survive extreme harm and recover to become much stronger). Goku had a ship with a grav chamber, magic healing beans, and 6 days to himself. Also more time to practice Kaioken to boost his current levels more and more.
