2025-01-22 18:15:28 +0000 UTCSo much nostalgia and you can see how other manga take great inspiration from DB. From certain mannerisms turning into tropes, like the protagonist eating. From Goku to Naruto/ramen and Luffy/meat. Even fight choreography like Rock Lee and even recently with Mundane Mann wearing weighted clothing lol. Just so cool. I especially love how the visually draw speed and change of direction in DB, in DBZ they keep a lot of those moments blank with random collisions to depict them moving faster the eye can see... Cool concept, but after awhile it gets old. the viewer doesn't always need to be blind to their speed, but I imagine it was easier to animate that way
