Oozing Temple | Out of the Abyss Map Pack!

For those running Out of the Abyss, or perhaps just interested in long slimy hallways (you know who you are), I present my interpretation of the Oozing Temple.

The module has this sized at 25 x 25, but I think I would run this at 50 x 50 simply to give the area a bit more space and adjust the sizes of any of the oozes, slimes or jellies contained within accordingly, but the gridded version retains the original 25 x 25 spacing for those of you wanting to play close the adventure, as written.

The entry to the map lay in the rubble-strewn hallway toward the bottom, which is triggered by some type of cave-in event while simply moving along an underdark tunnel. The temple is no longer inhabited by its original tenants, nor used for whatever purposes it was built. Now it is a home to slimes, oozes and jellies - and the party must discover a way out.

If you aren't running the module, this could be a great Underdark side quest encounter to run and drop in off any side tunnel the party may find, perhaps holding an interesting artifact, scrap of knowledge or portal of value.
