2-1 Exporting a Sim and Importing into Blender (Basic Material Set Up)

Series Playlist

This tutorial covers the process of exporting your sim(s) using TS4 Sim Ripper and Importing them into Blender. It also covers the basic material set up.

Program Links:

- If you're unsure of how to use zipped versions of Blender, you can watch my previous tutorial here.

-You can find all versions of Blender here.

- To extract .zip and .rar files these are some of the programs you can use - Winrar, Winzip, 7-Zip , or even the default Windows 10/Mac extractor. In this video, I'm using Winrar.

Other Useful Tutorials:

I tried to explain some of these topics, but if you're a complete 3D beginner these other tutorials should help!

What are the different texture maps? (Diffuse, Specular, Etc.)

Notes:

This tutorial is the first step of truly making some cool renders. I didn't want the video to be too long or too much to process, so I stopped it at the basic material set up. The next video will go over fixing the overlapping textures and eventually we'll get to more advanced stuff :)
