MISTAKES!~

Alright hoes, seeing as I'm wrapping up our stay in the exclusivity of the city of Godsfall here in the Fallen Kingdom, I've been reviewing my notes as I write chapter 364 and came to a funky little realization.

There's actually not three Bishops in Godsfall- there's Four!!!

Bishop Kai Valdir of the Valdir line, vampire-ass motherfucker as I made him to be, showed up early on and then just hasn't existed since then pretty much! He was at the original meeting, and at the meeting in the skeleton chamber to talk to all the other cities, and then just vanished for all of book 9! Wasn't even here for the final exam, tenured slacker that he is!

So! While this poll doesn't guarantee what will happen with him, I intend to juice you all for your input as a way to use me own creative juices and see where public sentiment lies. What do you think I should do with our absentee Bishop? I'm currently leaning towards option A, but frankly, I would appreciate some input- I know I can write his ass creatively, but part of me wants to double check that I'm not overcooking the story. Considering he's been missing this whole time, maybe it's a sign that my adding him back in would only bog things down! I'll meditate on this, but your qi stones (votes) will be a valuable way to see how my peeps feel!

This would be one of the main chains of thought I was going to use if I ended up going with option 3! Or like, he's on loan or just visiting from another city in the Fallen Kingdom with a different vibe / culture, or negotiating with other factions, or kept at bay by the other Bishops... lots of options! This is a Ko and Aria situation, not a game-break situation, lol.

During the vampire's introduction: > while “Kai Valdir” bows almost deeply enough to be improper. I am now realizing I kind of made up the idea in my own head, but I had thought that the vampires were kind of on the outs with the rest of the bishops, hence the need for extra respect and demuring. They're still trying to imitate life, and if they're like traditional vampires they're less self sustaining lichs and more slightly deader than normal parasites. I had assumed his absense was more political maneuvering on the part of the other bishops than anything else. Blood from a still living cultivator aspeced to Death and End seems like it would be worth more to the vamps, where the other bishops want Jin dead. I was honestly kinda expecting Bishop Fangs / other vampires to proposition Raika outside the other bishop's knowledge once they left or were otherwise unsupervised. But thats mostly my own theory crafting, you do you babe.

His having talks with the corpse alpha of the pack maybe?
