UPDATED with final video link.
Hey all! Here’s the early edit of my latest video! We still have a few things we want to fix/add, but I wanted to get a video to you by the end of the month so here it is! The graphics look AWFUL because we were jumping between so many different resolutions, so please forgive the unintelligible images here and there. On the positive side: I get to talk about daddies again!!!
We still need to add music, do a color pass, re-record a few lines for clarity, and add a few thoughts here and there, including a little bit of a wrap up/conclusion.
Let me know if you spot any errors or have any thoughts. I’m really proud of this one! Thank you so much for helping me make it happen! ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! Back when I worked at Blockbuster (RIP), I had the distinct "pleasure" of watching this movie and being utterly flabbergasted at the...how shall we say, unintentional comedy?...of it all and I am so glad that you pointed out so many of the logical flaws on display and just bad messages that this movie attempts to instill in its viewers. From one lapsed Catholic to another, keep up the great work!

I think the little girl actually says “after ever.” I’ll give that a listen again.
For the scene with dick Cheney, do you mean dick Cheney’s wife? Or kirk’s? I meant to say that we never see Dick Cheney with KIRK’s wife. we are about to do our final watchdown, so we have time to fix these little errors if we need to!

This rules.
Minor, mega-nitpicky errors:
- Dick Cheney does appear in at least one scene with his wife-character--when he tells her to go away so that he can talk to Kirk alone.
- "Happily after ever," God help us all, not "happily ever after."

I love what you're doing with this. I'm not saying I'm 100% on board with all you're saying. And I have some nits I may pick at a later date.
My first impression is that this is good and made with good intentions.
Also...the "Why is Kirk Cameron famous?" bit is probably genuine, but I'm definitely feeling my age.

Thank you for making this. I grew up in this culture, and your description of the abuse is pitch-perfect. My oldest friends are still fully invested in the culture and I've gone a different way. The vibe is... weird.
