The Burglar and The Fool Download (Public Gift) / Project: NPC

Hi everyone! As you should know by now, the recent update introduced The Burglar to Sims 4. Even though basegame Burglar is female, i wanted to create a different dynamic and made a male Burglar. And a female cop comes with him.

- Story of The Burglar and The Fool -

"When life gives you lemons, squeze them and make lemonade!", they say. Nicole, a smart and successful cop, did exactly what they say. She made herself a giant jug of a lemonade. Pretty sweet, plenty sour... If she pours it down the drain, it'll be wasted. If she drinks too much, she'll regret. What should she do?

Our Burglar, a nameless criminal, has been under the PD's radar. But somehow, he always got away with what he had done. But this time, agent Dargen was on the case and she finally found the necessary evidence. It wasn't much but it was enough to put him behind the bars. "I got you, bastard", she said. Agent Dargen and couple of other officers dragged his lucky ass to the police station. And interrogation began.

Seemingly, the Burglar knew exactly what he had to say. He knew the law, he knew the loop holes. He was smart. And oddly charming. A crooked smile, messed up hair by the ski mask, his voice... He was flirting with her, Nicole was distracted and this was exactly what the Burglar needed. He didn't need to world the fall apart, a chaos was not necessary. A tiny distraction. Seconds. 4 seconds was enough for him to dig his flawless escape. And he found his opening effortlessly. The second Nicole got up and moved away from the desk, Burglar reached for the only evidence they had and swallowed it. Once Nicole was sure to say "Enough! Soon you'll be talking behind bars with this evide-" And there goes all her smile away. Where was the evidence she was proudly shoving into the criminal's face? She turned the room upside down. Even though there were cameras in the room, our Burglar knew exactly how to hide his moves. He was quite the charming, cunning devil. He only lacked the trident, tail and the horns.

Soon after, he got released. Once again, he was free to break into houses. Will he behave from now on and stop breaking in? We don't know. But what we know is, that night, The Burglar broke into Nicole's heart. Ever since that interrogation, Nicole couldn't get her mind off of the Burglar.

From that time on, every time they have an evidence, Nicole turned a blind eye. Once... twice... thrice... At some point, Burglar left a message at one of the houses he broke into.

Nicole knew what it was and who it was from. Like a fool, she did exactly what the message told her to do. And the Burglar, made his move. Late at night, he visited the fool. He knew that Nicole was wanting him. And to be fair, she was pretty. So he took the opportunity and gave her what she wanted. An exquisite night, under the moonlight coming through her bedroom's window. Their screams echoed on the empty, dark streets. They did not sleep until the sunrise. Couple hours later, Nicole woke up on the bed alone.

From that night on, Nicole never found an evidence on the Burglar. She always left her window open. And the Burglar visited her every night.

Nicole never learned Burglar's name. She never wanted to. Because she knew she'd get hurt if he spoke his name aloud.

For her, he were The Burglar.
For him, she were The Fool.
