This is the last part of the series, where you can probably get a better sense of the storytelling as well. I love the way Julien shoots. I like his wide compositions, where you can see the surroundings and beyond.
What I loved about this apartment were the huge windows, the white balcony, and that very particular iron canopy, which immediately makes me think of seaside places in England. That weekend, the weather was terrible—strong winds and rain all day, creating a ghostly and dramatic atmosphere. The enormous trees outside the window danced furiously in the wind, which rushed under the old window frames, sending shivers down my spine.
However, I was at peace, in my quiet space, admiring the cold violence of nature.
