Woods pt.3

Buona sera!

Vi sono mancata? 3 giorni senza farmi sentire, ma 2 o 3 volte al giorno questo week end, non potete lamentarvi!☝🏻

Torniamo a noi e al set di Stefan Rappo! La scorsa settimana vi ho raccontato un po' della sua visione e di quel che "cerca" nella fotografia: naturalezza senza essere focalizzato sulla bellezza o eleganza dei movimenti. Gli "inbetween shots" sono quelli più frequenti come avete notato.

Vi racconto questo: le prime due foto di questa terza serie, che chiaramente io trovo bellissime, per lui erano quelle che gli piacevano di meno! Poiché sono foto semplici. Quando le abbiamo riguardate insieme mi ha detto "tutti sono bravi a fare foto belle". La cosa mi ha ricordato un po' i pittori che dopo gli studi del corpo umano e la bellezza, si tende a scavare e scarnare sempre di più, e si cerca di arrivare a qualcosa di non tangibile, un emozioni, un sentimento, un esperienza.

Non sono sicura abbia trovato quel che cercava in questi due set pubblicati, ma sono sicura che il terzo (che verrà pubblicato su PSM magazine quest'inverno, quindi lo vedrete qua su Patreon dopo la pubblicazione) sia quello più intenso. E la cosa buffa è che è stato il primo set che abbiamo scattato nella giornata, e in genere i primi scatti sono sempre quelli da scartare. 

Con Stefan è "tutto al contrario", tutto diverso da quel che sono solita fare e percepire. Mi è piaciuto molto lavorare con lui, spero di riuscire ad organizzare il prossimo anno un altro progetto.

Let's go back to us and Stefan Rappo's set! Last week I told you a little about his vision and what he "looks for" in photography: naturalness without being focused on the beauty or elegance of the movements. The "inbetween shots" are the most frequent ones as you have noticed.

I'll tell you this: the first two photos of this third series, which I clearly find beautiful, for him were the ones he liked the least! As they are simple photos. When we looked at them together he said "everyone is good at taking beautiful photos". This reminded me a bit of painters who, after studying the human body and beauty, tend to dig and flesh out more and more, and try to arrive at something intangible, an emotion, a feeling, an experience

I'm not sure she found what she was looking for in these two published sets, but I'm sure the third one (which will be published in PSM magazine this winter, so you'll see it here on Patreon after publication) is the more intense one. And the funny thing is that it was the first set we shot of the day, and generally the first shots are always the ones to discard.

With Stefan it's "everything on the opposite side", completely different from what I usually do and perceive. I really enjoyed working with him, I hope to be able to organize another project next year.
