Bye bye black bird

Questo è un set che è stato scattato da Renato Buontempo un giorno particolare ed emblematico per me.

Avevo discusso coi miei genitori a causa delle mie foto e del mio lavoro, e mi sono sentita molto ferita dal fatto che preferissero vedermi morire lavorando come una schiava dentro una cucina, buttando la mia vita nella depressione ma facendo un lavoro socialmente accettabile, piuttosto che vedermi felice e seguirmi nel mio percorso. Fin da piccola a me non è mai importato niente di quello che la gente pensava di me, non ho mai seguito le mode e sono andata sempre controcorrente. Ma le persone a me care si, e avrei tanto voluto che mi appoggiassero (anche) in questa scelta. Quel giorno Renato (più del solito) mi ha dato tantissimo supporto e affetto, una grossa spinta a continuare, ed è entrato ufficialmente tra le mie più care amicizie, nella mia famiglia.

Ha immortalato il mio corpo che si libera dalla tristezza, mentre spicco il volo. Questa è un'altra parte che amo del mio lavoro: conoscere persone fantastiche, creare nuove amicizie, vivere i rapporti in maniera sincera e assorbire tutto ciò che c'è di buono.

This is a set that was shot by Renato Buontempo on a particular and emblematic day for me.

That day I had argued with my parents because of my photos and my job, and I felt very hurt that they would have preferred see me die working as a slave in a kitchen, throwing my life into depression but doing a socially acceptable job, rather than see me happy and follow me on my journey. Since I was a child, I never cared about what people thought of me, I never followed trends and I always swam against the tide. But I do care what people I love think, and I really wanted them to support me (also) in this choice. That day Renato (more than usual) gave me a lot of support and affection, a big push to continue, and officially became one of my closest friends, and part of my family.

He immortalized my body freeing itself from sadness as I take off. This is another part of my job that I love: meeting great people, making new friends, living relationships truthfully, and absorbing all that is good.
