Progress update – FEBRUARY

Hello everyone! I've been focusing on the animations for most of the month so I'm pleased to tell you that everything is rigged and I'm already working on the second one.

This BJ animation may look very similar to each other because they use the same POV, but her rig skeleton is completely different and I could only reuse the legs from the other animation (which are practically invisible because of her boobs). In the past, I had already tried to do a BJ scene, but it requires specific assets, otherwise it looks awful.

And if you are surprised that I jumped from 8 to 30 animations, it's because I'm also counting the different moods and talking animations. At first I wanted to simplify how I classified the animations to make it easier to follow their progress, but when the implant is deactivated, Mia reacts accordingly and her movements are different, so it’s easier this way.

For the BJ animation, as she obviously can't speak, there are much less variants, but thanks to that I can also make them much longer (some of 9 seconds), so that the loop is imperceptible.

As I clarify at the end of the graph, the reason why I don't put the rig and the animations at 100% is because I haven't defined the climax part yet. Once I get to that part with the script I will complete the missing assets/rig.

Script

I've made some more progress with the script, I want it to be an update with much less fluff, but with 2 routes. As I'm still working on the animations I've only finished 3.5k words, but that's only for one of the routes.

Once I finish animating what corresponds to the first route I will start writing the second one. The animations are reusable for the most part, changing some things and varying mostly in the climax. When I finish the first route the second one will progress much faster.

Sprites

The sprites are already finished, I only had to add 2 more to Mia's encounter sprite to better express the emotions she goes through in this update.

CGs

I've been working on some assets that happen during the animations, but I haven't started yet with the more complex ones, that happen after the climax.

That's all for now, as the animations are the most immeasurable component of the update I have concentrated on them to avoid the constant delays that I usually go through due to lack of predictability. I'm progressing at a good pace, I don't plan to integrate minigames or anything strange so once all the animations are ready I'll give you a more precise release date, for now I'll just keep working.
