Progress update – August

Hi guys, sorry for keeping quiet all this time, I couldn't post anything until I had already finished the mini-game. I thought I had it ready, but adjusting and balancing everything took a lot of time and required more work to anticipate all the possible ways in which the player could interact and break this section. We'll see if everything works out, after all, no plan survives the first enemy contact.

The minigame is balanced in such a way that the player has enough credits to explore, but it requires a certain level of attention if you want to get the best result, I have tested it several times to see that it is not too difficult and that it is possible to “win” it in the first playthrough, even if you don't have any extra coins from Ruri's scene.

There's no way to lose it anyway, you can still advance to the animations, although running out of credits probably means that you didn't get to warm up Laura enough, which does affect the next scene.

This section alone contains about 21k words, not counting the introduction and the xxx part that comes after it. This will be the most extensive update in terms of words and complexity, which was not originally intended to be but ended up being so as the scene demanded it. I still have to make a couple of CGs of the cliffhanger leading to the next update and finish XXX scene, which now I feel that it must contain segcs to accompany the extensiveness of the previous part.

This mini-game ended up being so complex that it could have been a game of its own (well, it already is in Imperial Gatekepper). But you'll see that the amount of body parts the player can examine is something you haven't seen anywhere else. In a way I regret not having used all that time to make Flat Injustice, surely it would have been more beneficial for me, but I hope that those who get to play AL up to this part of the game can enjoy this section in which I worked so hard.

The minigame is finished, but I still need to write the close-up part because I integrated it in a different way now, but the minigame itself is ready. Now it remains to finish the animations and write the erotic part, which will not be so difficult because it is not part of a big tree diagram like the minigame, the missing CGs for the end are simple, then it remains to close everything (music, spelling and bugs).

Sorry for making you wait so long for this update. I have realized that I have obsessive tendencies with these things, work consumes me and I can't avoid adding more and more things to things that have no right to be so complex. I've said it before but at this rate I'll never finish the game, so for the next updates instead of doing this kind of complex stuff, maybe it would be better to do multiple simpler scenes without much fluff, concentrating on more drawing and less writing. Using a more conventional route system. I already have the structure planned, but I feel it is not right to show it until I can finish this update.

Thanks for putting up with me all this time, I can't believe you haven't guys left already. The worst is over, and now I will concentrate on the spicy part so I can finish the update by next month. I'll get back to work now, bye!
