Sneak Peek - Butt naked

Hello everyone! Here you have a new sneak peek showing the finished rear sprite. I still have to finish all of the assets (hands, objects and UI), but I'll do it while building the minigame, as I said before.

Here is the naked version of both sides, the idea is that the player can examine her thoroughly, feeling her for hidden objects. In terms of gameplay, I was thinking of having the player inspect her clothes before taking them off, with the possibility of finding more coins, gadgets and other trinkets. Plus, if you touch her on the right places, she gets aroused, and if you manage to turn her on... well...


I have yet to see how I'm going to code it, if it's possible, if it's too time consuming to be worthwhile or, more importantly, if it's fun. I don't want the mini-games to be a chore, but an opportunity to give the player some freedom and something they haven't seen before (although you've probably seen this before, I'm paying homage to Imperial Gatekeeper in this section).


As for the close-ups, I'm still working on the variations, here you can see a hand, which takes me quite some time to draw as the koikatsu ones are too stiff and look better if I draw them by hand ( Yes, I draw the hands by hand).

The point of the close-ups ties in with my intention of what I said above, to give freedom to the player, If you had a pair of breasts in front of you, what would you do? Grab them? Pinch her nipples? Poke them? That's what I'm working on. 


Optional content (already scrapped)

I would have liked to explore more of that all over her body (like focusing on her face to kiss her, her thighs to squeeze them, her armpits to... idk). But for now, I'm simplifying things since I don't know how complex the minigame is going to be, and I think people would prefer a quicker update this time.

This doesn't mean that I've cut content, just that I'm going to make more use of the sprite I just drew for some scenes (so I don't have to do so many super-detailed CGs) and combine others.  For example, I'm combining what would be the " butt close-up" with the main animated scene, I've already started drawing it but it has a lot of tricky parts that need to be drawn correctly for it to work... but if I get it right that complex scene would give me a lot of flexibility to add some spicy content for all tastes. 


What to improve?

Aside from the obvious (that I take a long and should speed things up), my patreon has been stagnant for quite a while and I suspect people might be holding off for the v0.5 to come out maybe? idk, the bane of all my problems are the slow updates and that's something I can't improve without fundamentally changing what makes the game what it is.

What do you guys think could be improved? Pumping up the artwork/animation quality doesn't seem to move the needle whatsoever, and I can't half-ass things so lowering the quality in exchange for speed wouldn't work for me. Should I cut the mini-games completely? Do you think adding the gallery would have a significant impact? I am curious to hear your opinions.

I've been thinking that maybe I could make a smaller game with a simpler artstyle that I can sell to finance this one if things get worse. Would you guys be totally against it? If I see that I can manage the schedule better for this update, I may explore that idea.


That's all for now, I'm going to move to programming and writing for a while, but I'll try to draw something else for the next progress update (In a couple of weeks), I hope to have the minigame up and running by then (or at least a draft). Bye!
