I've been asked by others to use doodle because Patreon doesn't allow hidden poll results, so people end up voting strategically instead of for who they really want to win. I can try using the patreon polls but I find them clunky both visually and because they offer zero customizability. But I've never experienced any ads or popups from doodle ever, and I've got no ad blockers installed? Perhaps it was another website?
