2025-04-20 04:48:12 +0000 UTCSo this takes place at the end parts of the manga in where Shohoku (the main team of the show) has made it to the inter high and are now fighting for a spot to take on the champs. This movie assumes that the watcher has already read the manga or watched the anime so some of the jokes wont land for first timers. Most of the VA's of the movie are also new since the og crew are too old, retired or dead. The 90's anime aint CG and is drawn in the 90's anime style and is still pretty good even till today with fluid motions just like watching an actual basketball match
