2025-05-13 21:28:07 +0000 UTCGlad to know I’m not the only one completely mindfucked by this episode. My schizo conclusion is that the comatose Kamome has somehow mastered astral projection to the point of being able to manifest herself as an actual physical being across the world. Umi is maybe some kind of higher entity pulling the strings of all this nonsense?

In Episode 6, the scene with “two Kamomes” is a symbolic or dreamlike moment, not a literal duplication. One Kamome is the real, physical Kamome. (In Finland--comatose) The other represents a memory or emotional echo—sometimes her child self, or a mental projection tied to her lost past or unfulfilled desire.
