As the demons themselves have yet to properly make their presence seen or felt, outside of the encroachment of the Demon World in the manga. In the manga, we just averted the disaster of the Demon World's encroachment, and the incompetences being removed from power. With the latest chapter having the next arc starting with an apparent abduction of an innocent woman. Who knows what route the anime will take, it could be focusing exclusively on the novel content. But some of the episodes feel like they were pulled straight out of the manga.
