I don't know how I feel about such a minor degree of Devil Trigger transformation. As Devil Trigger allows the Sparda twins to fully take on their demonic form. For the twins, their coats with be transformed into their demonic wings. Also what has been really bugging me about this series, is that Dante was always aware that his father was a demon in the original canon. As I believe that his mother had told the boys stories of their father's exploits. Even if that isn't confirmed, there is something else that proves that he is fully aware of his demonic heritage. His twin pistols, Ebony and Ivory, they don't need to be reloaded, as they use his demonic power as the ammo. And he got those guns well before the start of the games, from a weapon smith, who was like a second mother to him. Till she also got killed by demons. Leading to Dante choosing to disobey his mother's final wishes for him to start over with a new identity, as he was going by the alias of Tony Redgrave till that point. With his pistols being etched with that name. Which in itself is a call back to how Capcom's initial development of Devil May Cry, was as a new installment of the Resident Evil series.
