Remember how it was established that Hyouka and the Imaginary District exist as a result of the culmination of the AIM fields of all the espers in Academy City? If Hyouka is the core that creates the blanket field of this Artifical Angel over Academy City made up of espers.. what if this can be applied on a global scale as Aleister seems to be implying? Let's not forget we still have 10,000-ish Misaka clones scattered all over the world at research facilities being readjusted after the events of the Level 6 project. That's a massive net of AIM fields on a global scale.
