2025-01-25 12:48:34 +0000 UTCFunny enough, your idea of Okabe looping over and over again in the times of "ignorant bliss" fully knowing nothing is going to change is basically just describing the Suzuha route in the visual novel. The Suzuha route is basically a what-if scenario that branches off after we find out Suzuha committed suicide because she lost her memories. Instead of going through with undoing the Suzuha d-mail in the main route, Okabe decides he can't do it and just chooses to time leap back the full 48 hours and stays in that eternal loop of the 2 days of "happiness" with the group hanging out with Suzuha. Of course, over time with the repetition of seeing the same events play out over and over again, Okabe is driven insane.

Apothecary was a bruteforce pick before S2 released. It's possible he could start it after Index S2 or UBW if it wins a poll.
