The thing about Shizu, is that while it can be unnerving to toxic feminist that can't see things that don't fit their standards. Her family is debatably toxic, as they forced her to take a less feminine personality and preferences, in order to be the successor of the family dojo and what not. But she still has strong desires to be more girly, even through her family's grooming, and says that she shouldn't for whatever reason. And here Hajime is, being kind to his girls in his own way, spoiling them in a way that make her feel jealous. But she is conflicted about seeking out such comfort, as she feels it would be a betrayal of her best friend, if she were to pursue him with romantic intent. Even if it could give her denied feminine side, her much needed sense of fulfillment.

Where they are sniffing and eating his spare clothes that they stole. And during sensei's time in the prison cell, where her magic was being blocked, she started writing Hajime's name with her own blood, along all the surfaces of the prison cell, while giggling like a shy maiden. To the point that the nun/angel girl was peering in with unsettled horror. Granted I think the 4-koma is a non-canon comedy series meant to make fun of what the girls do, when Hajime isn't looking.
