As you might speculate, Ranma was a boon to early doujinshi fandom, generating cargo ship containers worth of fanfic. No overt uncensored nudity in the remake, but the original (despite being a regular timeslot show) was famous for brief nudity -- that was kind of a thing in 80s to early 90s tv anime....

2024-11-23 17:53:04 +0000 UTCMuch of the original series cast seems to have returned, including the legendary Megumi Hayashibara as female Ranma, perhaps anime fandom's most beloved seiyuu (leading roles in Evangelion, Pokemon, Cowboy Bebop, Slayers, etc.). Her voice is pretty much still the same.
