I read this flashback manga scene on Reddit a couple months ago and had no idea where it was from and I just realized what it was and god it ripped my heart up again like when I first read it so tragic the mom was just doing everything she could for her daughter

Even being spoiled of the details beforehand doesn’t really lessen the emotional impact. And there’s gotta be many single moms out there who’s caught in situations similar to Silky’s former self. I love the fact that Aira, who until this episode has been portrayed as a selfish girl, actually decides to commit a very altruistic act: calling Acrobatic Silky mother, just so that the latter’s soul can go to a better place instead of vanish.
