Haruka is really dumb. The reason the girls get mad in the first place is obviously because they like him. Getting a Ring so they like him and don't get mad when he runs off makes no sense at all. Not for him, not for the story. The lenghts they go to move the plot in specific directions are really crappy. At this point it seems as if the story has to stick to the premise although it doesn't work anymore. Obviously if he just wanted to be alone he could just leave. What the girls think of them couldn't matter any less if he wants to truly live on his own.
