2024-09-11 10:58:01 +0000 UTCThe Subaru and Roswaal dynamic is so interesting. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thoroughly enjoy their scenes together in this season. In the same way Petelgeuse was a twisted parallel to Subaru's unhealthy feelings of entitled love, Roswaal definitely seems to serve that purpose of being a twisted reflection of who Subaru could become. Roswaal clearly is insane, but Subaru definitely doesn't seem to be that far off. Roswaal in this episode said that all you have to do is to throw your life away, focus *only* on protecting that one thing you love as the end that justifies the means and you will become like him.
