GENTLE WINDS
It’s never a bad day when I am able to hang out and creatively collaborate with Erna O’Hara, the smartest and most genuine model you could ever want to meet. This shoot was taken on the sand dunes near my house. It’s a vast, open space that reminds me of Star Wars, and it never loses it’s magic, special feeling.
Erna loved it as well, hoping to see it when she decided to drive up from Los Angeles. We shot a dozen different photo sets that weekend, as well as drank whiskey, ate great tacos, and swapped stories about the crazier aspects of our world. Though I’d shot at the dunes dozens of times, Erna made it new for me that weekend, bringing a beauty and energy to the shoot that my creative heart greatly desired.
